I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment.

The Lord hath set at nought all my mighty men in the midst of me;\par\tab He hath called a solemn assembly against me to crush my young men:\par\tab The Lord hath trodden as in a winepress the virgin daughter of Judah.

And I trod down the peoples in mine anger, and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.\par

For it is a day of discomfiture, and of treading down, and of perplexity, from the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, in the valley of vision; a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.

For in this mountain will the hand of Jehovah rest; and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dung-hill.

And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down; and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trod her under foot.

Look on every one that is proud, {\i and} bring him low;\par\tab And tread down the wicked where they stand.

Through God we shall do valiantly;\par\tab For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.\par

The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim shall be trodden under foot:

And he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.

Put ye in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe: come, tread ye; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.\par

Binding his foal unto the vine, And his ass's colt unto the choice vine; He hath washed his garments in wine, And his vesture in the blood of grapes:
