Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, the vine, and the fig-tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive-tree have not brought forth; from this day will I bless {\i you}.\par

Bring ye the whole tithe into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now herewith, saith Jehovah of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough {\i to receive it}.

But seek ye first the kingdom {\i of God}, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

O Jehovah of hosts,\par\tab Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.\par

Thou shalt surely give him, and thy heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him; because that for this thing Jehovah thy God will bless thee in all thy work, and in all that thou puttest thy hand unto.

And Isaac sowed in that land, and found in the same year a hundredfold: and Jehovah blessed him.

Like the dew of Hermon,\par\tab That cometh down upon the mountains of Zion:\par\tab For there Jehovah commanded the blessing,\par\tab Even life for evermore.

And they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow unto the goodness of Jehovah, to the grain, and to the new wine, and to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith Jehovah.\par

The vine is withered, and the fig-tree languisheth; the pomegranate-tree, the palm-tree also, and the apple-tree, even all the trees of the field are withered: for joy is withered away from the sons of men.\par

Who knoweth whether he will not turn and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, even a meal-offering and a drink-offering unto Jehovah your God?\par

Jehovah will smite thee with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

Wilt thou confide in him, that he will bring home thy seed,\par\tab And gather {\i the grain} of thy threshing-floor?\par

And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the grain, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labor of the hands.\par
