The name of the first is Pishon: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: he abode over against all his brethren.

And Saul smote the Amalekites, from Havilah as thou goest to Shur, that is before Egypt.

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.

and the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Cush.

Ephraim compasseth me about with falsehood, and the house of Israel with deceit; but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the Holy One.

Surely there is a mine for silver,\par\tab And a place for gold which they refine.
