Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown in the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Jehovah, thy hand is lifted up, yet they see not: but they shall see {\i thy} zeal for the people, and be put to shame; yea, fire shall devour thine adversaries.

And see; if it goeth up by the way of its own border to Beth-shemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us; it was a chance that happened to us.

They sent therefore and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and they said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to its own place, that it slay us not, and our people. For there was a deadly discomfiture throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us; for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he shall follow after them; and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host: and the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah. And they did so.

Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as Jehovah had spoken.

The women of my people ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their young children ye take away my glory for ever.

He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct,\par\tab {\i Even} he that teacheth man knowledge?

And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, Jehovah be magnified beyond the border of Israel.\par
