therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth its waves to come up.

The sea is come up upon Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I, even I, am against thee; and I will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

They lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, every one set in array, as a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.

Behold, I am against thee, O thou proud one, saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts; for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee.

Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, {\i and} of the rock of the plain, saith Jehovah; you that say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?

For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind,\par\tab Which lifteth up the waves thereof.

therefore, behold, I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even unto the border of Ethiopia.

Behold, I am against thee, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will uncover thy skirts upon thy face; and I will show the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

Behold, the Lord will dispossess her, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.

and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;
