Son of man, because that Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken {\i that was} the gate of the peoples; she is turned unto me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste:

Yea, and what are ye to me, O Tyre, and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? will ye render me a recompense? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompense upon your own head.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession;

and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;

unto the children of the east, {\i to go} against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of thy soul against the land of Israel;

How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people!\par\tab She is become as a widow, that was great among the nations!\par\tab She that was a princess among the provinces is become tributary!

Of the children of Ammon. Thus saith Jehovah: Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth Malcam possess Gad, and his people dwell in the cities thereof?

because of the day that cometh to destroy all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper that remaineth: for Jehovah will destroy the Philistines, the remnant of the isle of Caphtor.

and send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers that come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;

Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek;\par\tab Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre:

Let them be turned back by reason of their shame\par\tab That say,\par\tab Aha, aha.

Let them be desolate by reason of their shame\par\tab That say unto me, Aha, aha.

Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me;\par\tab They said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar-trees, and carpenters, and masons; and they built David a house.

and the border turned to Ramah, and to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea by the region of Achzib;

Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up an ensign for the peoples.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations;

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first {\i day} of the month, that the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Jehovah was there:

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee:\par\tab Let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified.
