And thus shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is Jehovah's passover.

And his parents went every year to Jerusalem at the feast of the passover.

For ye shall not go out in haste, neither shall ye go by flight: for Jehovah will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rearward.\par

And Jehovah spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto Jehovah thy God; for in the month of Abib Jehovah thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal; and they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.

And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto Jehovah your God, as it is written in this book of the covenant.

In the first {\i month}, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.
