Light is sown for the righteous,\par\tab And gladness for the upright in heart.

When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth;\par\tab And when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

For thou wilt light my lamp:\par\tab Jehovah my God will lighten my darkness.

and the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.\par

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness:\par\tab {\i He is} gracious, and merciful, and righteous.

{\i This was done} on the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast in like manner; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light:\par\tab Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

To the end that {\i my} glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent.\par\tab O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.\par

When the righteous triumph, there is great glory;\par\tab But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.
