What profit hath man of all his labor wherein he laboreth under the sun?

He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind;\par\tab And the foolish shall be servant to the wise of heart.

Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, {\i even} God, hath sealed.}

For what doth it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?

For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: he hath no standing grain; the blade shall yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up.\par

There is a grievous evil which I have seen under the sun, {\i namely}, riches kept by the owner thereof to his hurt:

and turn ye not aside; for then would ye go after vain things which cannot profit nor deliver, for they are vain.

that ye also be in subjection unto such, and to every one that helpeth in the work and laboreth.

Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labor that I had labored to do; and, behold, all was vanity and a striving after wind, and there was no profit under the sun.\par

What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth?
