Neither shalt thou covet thy neighbor's wife; neither shalt thou desire thy neighbor's house, his field, or his man-servant, or his maid-servant, his ox, or his ass, or anything that is thy neighbor's.

For this, {\b Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet,} and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, {\b Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.}

And he said unto them, Take heed, and keep yourselves from all covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Woe to him that getteth an evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the hand of evil!

And it came to pass at eventide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

If my heart hath been enticed unto a woman,\par\tab And I have laid wait at my neighbor's door;

Lust not after her beauty in thy heart;\par\tab Neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
