And Jehovah will make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if thou shalt hearken unto the commandments of Jehovah thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them,
They therefore cried out, Away with {\i him}, away with {\i him}, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but C\'e6sar.
Pilate therefore said unto them, Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law. The Jews said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:
until Jehovah removed Israel out of his sight, as he spake by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.
And Jehovah rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.
But his father and his mother knew not that it was of Jehovah; for he sought an occasion against the Philistines. Now at that time the Philistines had rule over Israel.
Jehovah hath done that which he purposed; he hath fulfilled his word that he commanded in the days of old;\par\tab He hath thrown down, and hath not pitied:\par\tab And he hath caused the enemy to rejoice over thee; he hath exalted the horn of thine adversaries.
Her adversaries are become the head, her enemies prosper;\par\tab For Jehovah hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions:\par\tab Her young children are gone into captivity before the adversary.
