Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: {\i therefore} he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in {\i his} rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

then will I also walk contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins.

The proud and haughty man, scoffer is his name;\par\tab He worketh in the arrogance of pride.

then I will walk contrary unto you in wrath; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.

But they, when they heard this, were cut to the heart, and minded to slay them.

Then the king's countenance was changed in him, and his thoughts troubled him; and the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee:\par\tab The residue of wrath shalt thou gird upon thee.

And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

And if ye will not yet for these things hearken unto me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.

Now when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men that had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces, before they came to the bottom of the den.\par

and I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee, that have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over; and thou hast laid thy back as the ground, and as the street, to them that go over.\par

The wrath of a king is {\i as} messengers of death;\par\tab But a wise man will pacify it.

And the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine {\i and went} into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.

And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as beforetime.

For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

And he commanded certain mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, {\i and} to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.
