And for this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when ye received from us the word of the message, {\i even the word} of God, ye accepted {\i it} not {\i as} the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe.
and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision;
And Saul was consenting unto his death. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church which was in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Jud\'e6a and Samaria, except the apostles.
