Claudius Lysias unto the most excellent governor Felix, greeting.
and they wrote {\i thus} by them, The apostles and the elders, brethren, unto the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greeting:
But Paul saith, I am not mad, most excellent Festus; but speak forth words of truth and soberness.
we accept it in all ways and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.
it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus;
but I hope shortly to see thee, and we shall speak face to face.
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are of the Dispersion, greeting.\par
and {\i he bade them} provide beasts, that they might set Paul thereon, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.\par
And he wrote a letter after this form:
and they, when they came to C\'e6sarea and delivered the letter to the governor, presented Paul also before him.
