And every day, in the temple and at home, they ceased not to teach and to preach Jesus {\i as} the Christ.\par

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.\par

And upon the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, intending to depart on the morrow; and prolonged his speech until midnight.

Teach me thy way, O Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth:\par\tab Unite my heart to fear thy name.

For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

And he brought them up into his house, and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, with all his house, having believed in God.\par

Servants, obey in all things them that are your masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord:

or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, {\i let him do it} with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.\par

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye grieved; for the joy of Jehovah is your strength.

and were continually in the temple, blessing God.\par

Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God hath already accepted thy works.

and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of thee, in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity that is toward Christ.

And when they heard {\i this}, they entered into the temple about daybreak, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison-house to have them brought.

Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, {\i being} the ninth {\i hour}.

And it came to pass, when he had sat down with them to meat, he took the bread and blessed; and breaking {\i it} he gave to them.

The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

And ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your men-servants, and your maid-servants, and the Levite that is within your gates, forasmuch as he hath no portion nor inheritance with you.

Servants, be obedient unto them that according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

But give for alms those things which are within; and behold, all things are clean unto you.

and there ye shall eat before Jehovah your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a communion of the body of Christ?
