For ye have brought {\i hither} these men, who are neither robbers of temples nor blasphemers of our goddess.
giving no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our ministration be not blamed;
thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou rob temples?
Give no occasion of stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the church of God:
while Paul said in his defense, Neither against the law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against C\'e6sar, have I sinned at all.
Seeing then that these things cannot be gainsaid, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rash.
