But a voice answered the second time out of heaven, What God hath cleansed, make not thou common.
and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.\par
and he said unto them, Ye yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to join himself or come unto one of another nation; and {\i yet} unto me hath God showed that I should not call any man common or unclean:
And a voice {\i came} unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, make not thou common.
because it goeth not into his heart, but into his belly, and goeth out into the draught?} {\i This he said}, making all meats clean.
But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath ever entered into my mouth.
And this was done thrice: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
