Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be a burden to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

Wherefore, my brethren beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.\par

But I will come unto you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia; for I pass through Macedonia;

If any man is hungry, let him eat at home; that your coming together be not unto judgment. And the rest will I set in order whensoever I come.\par

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will; and I will know, not the word of them that are puffed up, but the power.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life;\par\tab And he that is wise winneth souls.

If others partake of {\i this} right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.

For though I was free from all {\i men}, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.

and when I was present with you and was in want, I was not a burden on any man; for the brethren, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my want; and in everything I kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and {\i so} will I keep {\i myself}.

For what is there wherein ye were made inferior to the rest of the churches, except {\i it be} that I myself was not a burden to you? forgive me this wrong.\par
