But seek ye first the kingdom {\i of God}, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

But godliness with contentment is great gain:

The reward of humility {\i and} the fear of Jehovah\par\tab {\i Is} riches, and honor, and life.

The fear of Jehovah {\i tendeth} to life;\par\tab And he {\i that hath it} shall abide satisfied;\par\tab He shall not be visited with evil.

And this is the promise which he promised us, {\i even} the life eternal.

but he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

The righteous shall inherit the land,\par\tab And dwell therein for ever.

But the meek shall inherit the land,\par\tab And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.

Say ye of the righteous, that {\i it shall be} well {\i with him}; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and prolong his {\i days}, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, that fear before him:

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him;\par\tab He also will hear their cry and will save them.

For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield:\par\tab Jehovah will give grace and glory;\par\tab No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne.

Faithful is the saying, and concerning these things I desire that thou affirm confidently, to the end that they who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men:

Can a man be profitable unto God?\par\tab Surely he that is wise is profitable unto himself.

And Samuel said, Hath Jehovah as great delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name.

But food will not commend us to God: neither, if we eat not, are we the worse; nor, if we eat, are we the better.

To what purpose cometh there to me frankincense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt-offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing unto me.

He shall dwell on high; his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given {\i him}; his waters shall be sure.\par

For evil-doers shall be cut off;\par\tab But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.

And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, {\i even} to them that are called according to {\i his} purpose.

whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

And every one that hath left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit eternal life.

If they hearken and serve {\i him},\par\tab They shall spend their days in prosperity,\par\tab And their years in pleasures.

And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in that which is to come.

but refuse profane and old wives' fables. And exercise thyself unto godliness:

If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, {\i even} the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

wranglings of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.

holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.

But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins.
