I also will do this unto you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away; and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

If evil come upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house, and before thee, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, and thou wilt hear and save.

what prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, who shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

He gave also their increase unto the caterpillar,\par\tab And their labor unto the locust.

For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,\par\tab And from the deadly pestilence.

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the work of your hands; yet ye {\i turned} not to me, saith Jehovah.
