Herein is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, even so are we in this world.

No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us:

And now, {\i my} little children, abide in him; that, if he shall be manifested, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

And every one that hath this hope {\i set} on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:

And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

But I say unto you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.}\par

But I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment, than for you.

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more them of his household!

Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.\par

For judgment {\i is} without mercy to him that hath showed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgment.\par

And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we {\i are} one;

And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this {\i cometh} judgment;

he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.\par

{\i My} little children, let no man lead you astray: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:
