Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, {\b The twain,} saith he, {\b shall become one flesh.}
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

{\b and the two shall become one flesh}: so that they are no more two, but one flesh.
By faith Rahab the harlot perished not with them that were disobedient, having received the spies with peace.\par
And Samson went to Gaza, and saw there a harlot, and went in unto her.
And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter-in-law hath played the harlot; and moreover, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.
And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with a harlot?
When Judah saw her, he thought her to be a harlot; for she had covered her face.
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life?
