Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and thou art dead.

I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false;

We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, even as it is meet, for that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all toward one another aboundeth;

Their heart is divided; now shall they be found guilty: he will smite their altars, he will destroy their pillars.

If any man loveth not the Lord, let him be anathema. Maranatha.

Ephraim, he mixeth himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
