Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

The memory of the righteous is blessed; But the name of the wicked shall rot.

And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing?

and I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence king and princes, saith Jehovah.

O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.
