He led them also by a straight way, That they might go to a city of habitation.

But he led forth his own people like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

Now these are the chiefs of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon’s servants.

For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

And Judah and all the cities thereof shall dwell therein together, the husbandmen, and they that go about with flocks.

Thus saith Jehovah, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls: but they said, We will not walk therein.

Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Jehovah thy God, who teacheth thee to profit, who leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

To him that led his people through the wilderness; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

Whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, abiding thereon, the children of Israel remained encamped, and journeyed not; but when it was taken up, they journeyed.

And my people shall abide in a peaceable habitation, and in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
