Jehovah trieth the righteous; But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.

They that are perverse in heart are an abomination to Jehovah; But such as are perfect in their way are his delight.

For the perverse is an abomination to Jehovah; But his friendship is with the upright.

For all that do such things, even all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto Jehovah thy God.

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.

A false balance is an abomination to Jehovah; But a just weight is his delight.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Tyre, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole people to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Gaza, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole people, to deliver them up to Edom.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.

For three things the earth doth tremble, And for four, which it cannot bear:

Diverse weights are an abomination to Jehovah; And a false balance is not good.

There are three things which are stately in their march, Yea, four which are stately in going:

Diverse weights, and diverse measures, Both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.

and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

He will deliver thee in six troubles; Yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

But as for me, in the abundance of thy lovingkindness will I come into thy house: In thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah; But they that deal truly are his delight.

A high look, and a proud heart, Even the lamp of the wicked, is sin.
