Happy is the man that feareth alway; But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Let not thy heart envy sinners; But be thou in the fear of Jehovah all the day long:

Serve Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling.

For all these things hath my hand made, and so all these things came to be, saith Jehovah: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and that trembleth at my word.

And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:

and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

Well; by their unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by thy faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.

He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Praise ye Jehovah. Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, That delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness;

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

I have set Jehovah always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

And the magicians of Egypt did in like manner with their enchantments: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as Jehovah had spoken.

And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he lay even this to heart.

Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and prolong his days, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, that fear before him:
