Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, And let not thy heart be glad when he is overthrown;

But look not thou on the day of thy brother in the day of his disaster, and rejoice not over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither speak proudly in the day of distress.

Lest Jehovah see it, and it displease him, And he turn away his wrath from him.

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, Jehovah will be a light unto me.
