Proverbs 15:25

Jehovah will root up the house of the proud; But he will establish the border of the widow.

Jehovah preserveth the sojourners; He upholdeth the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

Remove not the ancient landmark; And enter not into the fields of the fatherless:

The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; But the tent of the upright shall flourish.

The wicked are overthrown, and are not; But the house of the righteous shall stand.

Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:

For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;

For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; But the haughty he knoweth from afar.

Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

God will likewise destroy thee for ever; He will take thee up, and pluck thee out of thy tent, And root thee out of the land of the living. [Selah

Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor’s landmark, which they of old time have set, in thine inheritance which thou shalt inherit, in the land that Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it.

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God endureth continually.

Evil devices are an abomination to Jehovah; But pleasant words are pure.

He devoureth the barren that beareth not, And doeth not good to the widow.

Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: The helpless committeth himself unto thee; Thou hast been the helper of the fatherless.

learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

They are waxed fat, they shine: yea, they overpass in deeds of wickedness; they plead not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
