Proverbs 10:13

In the lips of him that hath discernment wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.

He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He doeth it who would destroy his own soul.

The Lord Jehovah hath given me the tongue of them that are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as they that are taught.

Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with bruised grain, Yet will not his foolishness depart from him.

The mouth of the righteous bringeth forth wisdom; But the perverse tongue shall be cut off.

The lips of the righteous feed many; But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; Whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, Else they will not come near unto thee.

And all bare him witness, and wondered at the words of grace which proceeded out of his mouth: and they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

He goeth after her straightway, As an ox goeth to the slaughter, Or as one in fetters to the correction of the fool;

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.

The mouth of the righteous talketh of wisdom, And his tongue speaketh justice.

The wise in heart shall be called prudent; And the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
