Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength of understanding.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might

which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever; for wisdom and might are his.

Happy is the man that feareth alway; But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

To him that by understanding made the heavens; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

O Jehovah, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: The earth is full of thy riches.

Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

With God is wisdom and might; He hath counsel and understanding.

And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

And be it still my consolation, Yea, let me exult in pain that spareth not, That I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

And, behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against Jehovah, the God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? Nay; but he would give heed unto me.

Yet God preserveth the mighty by his power: He riseth up that hath no assurance of life.

Dominion and fear are with him; He maketh peace in his high places.

God understandeth the way thereof, And he knoweth the place thereof.

Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: He is excellent in power; And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict.

Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who hath given understanding to the mind?

Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the bottles of heaven,

I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against Jehovah.

And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, and he did not let the people go.

And in the greatness of thine excellency thou overthrowest them that rise up against thee: Thou sendest forth thy wrath, it consumeth them as stubble.

and he said, O Jehovah, the God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and art not thou ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? and in thy hand is power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee.

That against God thou turnest thy spirit, And lettest words go out of thy mouth?

Canst thou put a rope into his nose? Or pierce his jaw through with a hook?

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

Jehovah is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means clear the guilty: Jehovah hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
