He lieth down rich, but he shall not be gathered to his fathers; He openeth his eyes, and he is not.

And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? For now shall I lie down in the dust; And thou wilt seek me diligently, but I shall not be.

That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the godless but for a moment?

Weary not thyself to be rich; Cease from thine own wisdom.

Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings, Like an eagle that flieth toward heaven.
