I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and will dry up the pools.

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

so that the fishes of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved to and fro.

And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.

Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations also of the mountains quaked And were shaken, because he was wroth.

Behold, I have made thee to be a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth; thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
