And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was waste and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

Thou sendest forth thy Spirit, they are created; And thou renewest the face of the ground.

Praise Jehovah from the earth, Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;

When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.

As birds hovering, so will Jehovah of hosts protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it, he will pass over and preserve it.

He maketh a path to shine after him; One would think the deep to be hoary.
