Then king Darius wrote unto all the peoples, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied unto you.

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

Then were the king’s scribes called at that time, in the third month, which is the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the satraps, and the governors and princes of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, a hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.

Then were the king’s scribes called in the first month, on the thirteenth day thereof; and there was written according to all that Haman commanded unto the king’s satraps, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the princes of every people, to every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and it was sealed with the king’s ring.

Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum the chancellor, and to Shimshai the scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and in the rest of the country beyond the River: Peace, and so forth.

Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.

Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;

Then the herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages,

then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to do unto his brother: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

He hath made a pit, and digged it, And is fallen into the ditch which he made.

Jehovah hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment: The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. [Higgaion. Selah

The righteous is delivered out of trouble; And the wicked cometh in his stead.
