But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.

I delight to do your will, O my God: yes, your law is within my heart.

Make me to go in the path of your commandments; for therein do I delight.

Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, said the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Unless your law had been my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction.

I will delight myself in your statutes: I will not forget your word.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

I have longed for your salvation, O LORD; and your law is my delight.

My soul has kept your testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Your testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.

Your testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

Listen to me, you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear you not the reproach of men, neither be you afraid of their revilings.

Therefore I love your commandments above gold; yes, above fine gold.

I hate vain thoughts: but your law do I love.

Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;

Jesus said to them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that grows in the skin; he is clean.

I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
