Praise you the LORD. Blessed is the man that fears the LORD, that delights greatly in his commandments.

No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, said the LORD.

For thus said the LORD to the king's house of Judah; You are Gilead to me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make you a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name with which she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

Seventy weeks are determined on your people and on your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

After a long time the lord of those servants comes, and reckons with them.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? No: but by the law of faith.

And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed to them also:

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Comes this blessedness then on the circumcision only, or on the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made to us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Where is then the blessedness you spoke of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Happy are you, O Israel: who is like to you, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help, and who is the sword of your excellency! and your enemies shall be found liars to you; and you shall tread on their high places.

And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Yes, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
