And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwells between the cherubim.

His lightning enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

The LORD has mingled a perverse spirit in the middle thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggers in his vomit.

I beheld the mountains, and, see, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.

Fear you not me? said the LORD: will you not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.

And he said to me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the middle of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their prostitution, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their high places.

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

But those my enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring here, and slay them before me.

Why, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Saying, We give you thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which are, and were, and are to come; because you have taken to you your great power, and have reigned.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
