Your own mouth comdemns you, and not I: yes, your own lips testify against you.

As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out your arrows, and destroy them.

All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

I was a reproach among all my enemies, but especially among my neighbors, and a fear to my acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at your presence.

The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.

A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.

To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passes thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

For was not Israel a derision to you? was he found among thieves? for since you spoke of him, you skipped for joy.

And it shall come to pass, that all they that look on you shall flee from you, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? from where shall I seek comforters for you?

And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

They say to him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard to other farmers, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

And he said to him, Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is your judgment come.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.
