I beseech you, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

My eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

My heart pants, my strength fails me: as for the light of my eyes, it also is gone from me.

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: they that would destroy me, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

My eye mourns by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily on you, I have stretched out my hands to you.

You did say, Woe is me now! for the LORD has added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
