Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.

As the whirlwind passes, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

His ways are always grievous; your judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffs at them.

The wicked in his pride does persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

The east wind carries him away, and he departs: and as a storm hurles him out of his place.

He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain to them, and they go down quick into the pit; then you shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light.
