For he sees that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

From men which are your hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly you fill with your hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

Surely every man walks in a vain show: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heaps up riches, and knows not who shall gather them.

But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

As the partridge sits on eggs, and hatches them not; so he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the middle of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

But God said to him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided?

And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:
