And he said, Listen you, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus said the LORD to you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

Is not this your fear, your confidence, your hope, and the uprightness of your ways?

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be you faithful to death, and I will give you a crown of life.

And there was war again: and David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and slew them with a great slaughter; and they fled from him.
