So man lies down, and rises not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

For the righteous LORD loves righteousness; his countenance does behold the upright.

Your testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for ever more.

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

On this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet to me.

With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like to his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things to himself.

And if it seem evil to you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
