I am small and despised: yet do not I forget your precepts.

I will delight myself in your statutes: I will not forget your word.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I do not forget your commandments.

But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.

Listen, my beloved brothers, Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to them that love him?
