Then called I on the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech you, deliver my soul.
I called on the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
And call on me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring you me out of my distresses.
In my distress I called on the LORD, and cried to my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for your mercies' sake.
And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?
