When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.
And in every province, and in every city, wherever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell on them.
They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
He that gives to the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.
He, that being often reproved hardens his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn.
