It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

How much less to him that accepts not the persons of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

You shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shall you speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

Neither shall you countenance a poor man in his cause.

You shall not wrest the judgment of your poor in his cause.

He that justifies the wicked, and he that comdemns the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity.

These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.

Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

And judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: you shall not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

Hear this, I pray you, you heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asks, and the judge asks for a reward; and the great man, he utters his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

And they sent out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, neither care you for any man: for you regard not the person of men.

You shall not wrest judgment; you shall not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
