When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

And he said, Your name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince have you power with God and with men, and have prevailed.

And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.

And the fear of the LORD fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.

So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.

And they delivered the king's commissions to the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.

This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that has horns and hoofs.

And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when you go, you shall not go empty.

Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

The LORD said, Truly it shall be well with your remnant; truly I will cause the enemy to entreat you well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do to him even as he shall say to you.

And I will show mercies to you, that he may have mercy on you, and cause you to return to your own land.

Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.

That you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing to the Lord.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

And who is he that will harm you, if you be followers of that which is good?

And whatever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
