The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keeps his way preserves his soul.

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

He that walks uprightly walks surely: but he that perverts his ways shall be known.

He that keeps the commandment keeps his own soul; but he that despises his ways shall die.

Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.

Thorns and snares are in the way of the fraudulent: he that does keep his soul shall be far from them.

Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.

But in every nation he that fears him, and works righteousness, is accepted with him.

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offense toward God, and toward men.

But we are not of them who draw back to perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come on all the world, to try them that dwell on the earth.
